The 8000 m3/day Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) facility services the residents of the new Jafza South Staff Accommodation Facility. The STP uses 20% of its effluent to irrigate the staffing facility's landscape. Tanker filling points enable supplementary effluent to be used for irrigation and construction applications in parts of the Free Zone and surrounding developments. The system is yet another example of the capitalization of maximum stakeholder satisfaction with a compact footprint, minimal environmental nuisance and excellent water product for a wide scope of recycling options.
