The Irrigation & Fire Fighting Pump Station mainly consists of Water Reservoirs, Inlet chambers, Pump Room, Pressure Vessel, Lifting Equipment, MCC Room etc.

The Pumping Station was designed and constructed to receive TSE (treated Sewage Effluent) water from nearby Sewage Treatment Plant, TSE water is fed into and stored in an Water Tanks, commonly known as Reservoirs. The Reservoirs is equipped with electrical instrumentation to detect the level of water present. When the water level rises to a predetermined point, a Irrigation pump will be started and transported to irrigation network. Then Irrigation Pumps will be used to pump the water to the Irrigation Network for the further process.

This Project includes Irrigation & Fire Fighting Pump Stations with 4 Irrigation Pumps (3Duty/1Standby) of capacities 56.53L/Sec at 76.26M head, 1 Jockey Pump & Fire Pump Set ( Fire Electrical Pump, Fire Diesel Pump & 1 Jockey Pump).

All the pipes & fittings in the Tanks, Pump Rooms are Carbon Steel and for Inlet Chambers pipes & fittings are GRP/GRE. For Fire Fighting pipes & fittings are ERW Sch40 (Galvanized). Pressure vessel is provided for the station to balance the negative pressure development.

The Instrumentation, and control system is provided for unmanned Automatic operation, protection, and control of the Pump station. For the Automatic control of the pump station & for Remote Controlling, Dual Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is provided. Water Level in Tanks is monitored by Ultrasonic level Transmitters and float switches, the water flow is monitored by Electromagnetic Flow Meters.
